SMS Messaging Terms & Compliance

This messaging program sends appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, follow-up communications, billing notifications, office announcements, service-related updates, and related communication messages to customers and patients who have booked an appointment with Legacy Chiropractic, Inc., submitted a form, contacted our office, or otherwise explicitly opted in to receive SMS notifications.

Opt-in may be collected through website forms, booking forms, calendar forms, contact forms, in-person consent, or other consent-based channels that include a dedicated SMS consent option.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Legacy Chiropractic, Inc.’s website, services, communications, scheduling features, and related services. Cancellation Instructions

You can cancel SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to the same number that sent you messages. Upon sending STOP, we will confirm your unsubscribe status by SMS. After this confirmation, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us unless you opt in again through the original signup process or another approved consent method.

Carrier Liability

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Our SMS program works with major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and most regional carriers.

Age Restriction

SMS services are intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent and be the primary contact for SMS communications.

3. Privacy Policy & SMS Compliance

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information, including mobile data, is governed by our Privacy Policy.

We comply with applicable laws and regulations, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CTIA guidelines, and applicable healthcare privacy obligations regarding the use of SMS communications.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except with service providers required to deliver the messages you have consented to receive.

4. Patient Responsibilities

5. Appointments and Cancellations

We request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Missed appointments or late cancellations may be subject to a $67 cancellation fee. Repeated no-shows may result in discharge from the practice.

6. Payment and Insurance

Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements are made in advance. We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and HSA payments. Insurance coverage remains your responsibility to verify.

Payment processing may be handled by third-party payment providers. Legacy Chiropractic, Inc. is not responsible for errors, interruptions, or issues caused by third-party payment processors or vendors.

7. Health Information and HIPAA

We comply with applicable federal and state privacy laws, including HIPAA where applicable. Health records are confidential and shared only with written consent, for treatment, payment, healthcare operations, or as otherwise required or permitted by law.

8. Limitations of Care

Chiropractic care is not a substitute for emergency medical treatment. If you experience a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

We do not guarantee specific results. Outcomes may vary depending on individual health conditions, treatment plans, compliance, and other factors.

9. Children and Minors

Patients under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian unless otherwise permitted by applicable law or office policy.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Legacy Chiropractic, Inc.’s website, forms, scheduling systems, messaging systems, or communication features.

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
